Chocolate Babka

Babka!!! My parents LOVE babka, so it's always been something that I've wanted to bake. After a long week of studying for the GRE, I put the vocab flashcards down and started in on the babka. It took two days since the dough had to be refrigerated for one night, but the time investment only made it feel like the finished product was even more special. The end result was magical, it's so chocolatey and gooey in the center, with all the right crispier bits on the outside. The two babkas I made were so so pretty, one was swirled in a loaf pan and the other was more of a babka wreath.
