I have to admit, I'm not quite comfortable yet with vegan and gluten-free desserts. I'm so used to baking with butter, eggs and flour and I'm always skeptical when I see a recipe with ingredients I'm not familiar with. I was completely surprised (and totally elated) when these vegan brownies turned out soooo gooey. Seriously, the gooey-factor was off the charts. I made them for someone who wanted vegan treats for her family, and she reported back that her fam loved these. Unfortunately I made these the day before Yom Kippur, and I have to say that fasting with brownies in the house made the day feel approximately a thousand times harder!
